Inspection teams have recently focused on the quality of intervention plans and have found that insufficient attention is given to the structure, purpose and quality of the plan. The energy used on making the assessment often results in the plan being an after thought without too much consideration given to what, how and when interventions are delivered.
This one day courses concentrates on sequencing, balancing and building multi-modal plans that have clear goals and outcomes. The course includes looking at what works and why. The Good Lives Model is used to illustrate the importance of building on positive attributes and resilience. The training will also cover the participation of the young person in the plan to a point where it is jointly owned with the practitioner.
